If you are planning on taking an African vacation then this would be a great package to consider.
The thing with picking packages for your African safari is the fact that it is often pre arranged leaving you just enjoy the safari without worrying about logistics especially if you are visiting Africa for the first time.
What better way to explore Africa than to visit three of Tanzania’s most popular Northern parks.
Lake Manyara Park, Serengeti Park and Ngorongoro Crater. All three parks are home to a wide variety of animals. Small and large including birds and reptiles
With this i have choosen standard accommodation off course depending on how much you are willing to spend you can always opt for superior or more luxiourious accommodation and lodges.
Rest assured that you will really enjoy and experience nature, wildlife, in it natural habitat.
Below is your day to day itinerary in detail. What others may call a trip plan.
Trip Plan:
Day 1: Arusha – Lake Manyara National Park
- Early In the morning at around 0830hrs you are picked up from your hotel in Arusha and your journey begins with a 130km drive to Lake Manyara National Park by road. The park is home to a variety of animals including Lion, Hippo, Elephant, Zebra, Buffalo, Giraffe, Baboon, Blue and Vervet monkey, Warthog and many more more. It is also worth noting that about 350 species of birds have been recorded, at 1230hrs leave the park for lunch at the lodge, dinner and overnight Lake Manyara Hotel. (Full Board accommodation)
Day 2: Manyara – Serengeti National Park
- After an early morning breakfast in Manyara your journey to the Great Serengeti National Park begins at 0600hrs you arrive there in time for lunch. In the afternoon you go for a game drive in the park which has its own variety of animals including lion, leopard, Elephant, Cheetah, Buffalo, Zebra, Wildebeest, Eland, Wild dog, Gazelles, and Crocs. There are also plenty of birds here too including birds that have migrated from Europe and Asia to escape the winter. Dinner and overnight at Seronera Wildlife lodge (full Board accommodation)
Day 3: A whole day at the Serengeti National Park
- This is where you truly get to experience the serengeti National Park because on this day you get to go for a morning game drive and also an afternoon game drive. The thing with game drives is that there are some animals you get to see at a particular time of the day. Like should you want to experience hunts you have a better chance of doing that in the morning than during the day when the sun is hot and predators are most inactive. Later that evening you go for Dinner and overnight at Seronera Wildlife lodge (Full Board accommodation)
Day 4: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Crater Rim
- You get up at 0600hrs and prepare for an early morning game drive at the Serengeti at you get back to the lodge at about 0845hrs in time for breakfast. Then check out and drive to Ngorongoro Crater Rim for lunch, You then have the afternoon at leisure at the lodge this would be a good time to just relax and take it all in after all you are in Africa (Hakuna matata) Later that evening you have dinner and spend the night at Ngorongoro Wildlife lodge. (Full Board accommodation)
Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater tour
- On this day you get up early in the morning for breakfast then at 0600hrs your game drive begins when you descend into the Crater floor. Ngorongoro crater is like a big bowl with lodges on the top of the bowl. To better see the park and its animals you have to drive from the top of this bowl to the bottom. A friend once described it best when he said, “Ngorongoro Crater is like a big bowl with animals trapped at the bottom of the bowl.” Here you will find all of Africa’s BIG FIVE Rhino, Lion, Leopard, Buffalo and Elephants others animals include Zebra, Hippo, Wildebeest and other herbivores which make up the diet of the predators. Hyena too can be found here including birds like flamingos on the Soda lake, Geese, Storks and Vultures. Lunch will be served but this time packed lunch, in the Crater at Ngoitoktok swamp, a Hippo pool. After the lunch break, you proceed with game viewing while slowly ascending the Crater for dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Wildlife lodge (Full board accommodation)
Day 6: Ngorongoro – Arusha
