Far more dangerous that the green mamba is the black mamba found all the way from Ethiopia to Namibia. This sanke hunts in trees and on the ground putting it in contact with people. At speeds of over 5 meters per second this is the world’s fastest snake. While the black mamba kills human there is another snake that kills more.

Once they roamed all over Africa today roads and farms have impeded their migration paths forcing them to compete with human for water and food source. In 1990’s more than 200 people were killed by elephants in Kenya alone.

According to me black mamba has to be at top on most venomous snakes not only because of its highly toxic venom but also the speed it can travel. All in all it is a good and informative list.
